As site supporters and regular users, we feel the site gives to much to time wasters and not enough to people who pay for the support to protect against obituary leavers and joiners. Better more effective free sites out there. |

See your point, started to see an influx of profiles pop up get alot of friends then disappear. But still the best site I've been on. Just getting harder to find the honest gems. |

so the obvious question would be, why stay and continue to support the site?
At only £5 for 30/60 days, it's unrealistic to expect the site to protect you from
anything, your common sense should do that with maybe a little help from using your filters. |

It's not admins fault if people have their own thoughts and ideas.
I've used a fair amount of sites and haven't found anything better than fab so far and happy to stay on here and support the site.
Yeah sometimes it's shit on here or some of the people are shit, eventually i figure out what's what though and use the site in a way that is better for me. |

The site has given us tools to help us run our profiles/meets as we see fit. If you don't like -go to the free sites. They are worse. Just close the door on your way out. |

If your premise were correct, what could admin actually do?
A cynic might observe that there are many blatantly fake profiles that are also Gold and Silver members here, but the fact that as a user you can tell that they are fake even if admin seem unable to means that you shouldn't be bothered by them anyway. |

You get the fakes and timewasters on any and every site. This is certainly the best One out there that we have found, and we have tried them all.
As someone else in this thread said, fab have provided all reasonable tools to out the idiots. |

I normally avoid contentious threads on here but . . .
Personally I'd hate to see the site change or charges increased for any policing of individuals.
I see it as another form of social media and look at the nobs you find on Facebook etc.
you make your choice & pay your money & choose who you chat with.
As for too 'commercial' I see no advertising & I'm not aware of my details being sold to any PPI or injury claim companies .
