chat room timing out

Hi guys has come to the attention of a few regulars in the SE chatroom , that we are experiencing problems with chat timing out. Just wondering if this was a system in place for when users are inactive in chat for a certain period of time or a bug issue

This has always been the case, after period of inactivity you will time out.

PMs and Cams don't count towards "activity".

after 45 mins with no chatting etc this will time you out

i dont know if pms count

If in doubt - type a dot in the main room every so often.
