New Browse/Search page in Beta test

We're testing a new Beta (work-in-progress) browse/search page.
Try it by copying this link to your browser:

Things that are new:
* There are more options for restricting the search results e.g. only see people who can accommodate / travel
* You can search for new users in the past 5 days
* You can restrict the search result to people who are looking for someone of your age
* You can look for members who have at least one verification from a meet.
* For single guys, you can restrict the search result to people who haven't blocked single guys
The area search is also works slightly differently.
You can enter postcodes (first characters only, e.g. SW for South West London). If you enter postcodes
the search is done on postcodes and the region is ignored. You can also enter more than one postcode seperated by a comma so if you live on the edge of a boundary for example you might search "YO, LS" to search Yorkshire and Leeds postcodes at one go.
This is a work in progress and we have further improvements to make. For example we're going to let you save
your most common searches so you can re-run them with one-click.
THINGS WE WANT TO DO:
We're also aware of the desire of some members to search for couples with bisexual guys. We're still figuring this out.
We also want to let you search by race but we need to update the profile page to capture the data to allow this.

Liking the beta search option, have seen alot of profiles who arent after single guys yet they appear when browsing for woman. Good work |

It's very nice! But, to ask. I searched using the first two letter of the postcode (being CB) and the first 5 results were, in order:
Nottingham
Leicester
Rutland
Nottingham
Lincon
So, I think one of two things: the postcode search isn't working as intended OR (and maybe more likely) people don't bother to put in their right postcode!
Not sure what to say about the latter. Perhaps big words on the profile page stressing the importance of correct details?

Looks good to me!
One feature that would be good would be to filter smokers and non smokers.

The new browse section is much better.
I do have one suggestion though.
Is itpossible to select a search radius for example if I input RH for example could I then select within 5/10/15/20 miles etc of this post code?

EXCELLENT,it's always good to see a site with some development going on, cannot wait for the search by race, has H loves black guys.
This will definitely keep us as a site supporter

The ability to filter on sexual orientation generally rather than just "couples with bi males" would be useful.

Would be great if the Postcode search looked at the whole of the 1st part of the postcode - i.e. include the number |

a great improvement thanks,just one thought it seems people have asked for a bi search filter for the last couple of years ,this would be a great time to role it out if possible.

Not sure an "online now" would add anything since it lists by order of online recency? Just don't scroll past those who show "online now" in this case

Have tried it and totally agree with everyone, keep it, make it the default browse page..
Good Idea about single guys as i find you get a search result only to find not looking for single guys.
Keep up the good work on the site.
Another thing, the new chat is hell of a lot better, lets make that the default option as well. |

I prefer this search method. Could refine it more by maybe adding Straight or Bi. Smoker, non smoker. |

Definitely liking the idea that you can search for folks that have a verification by a meet. Helps to out some of the fakes. May I suggest, that another way of achieving the same outcome would to have a different verification flag for meets, phone or webcam. Alternatively, to only let people hide verifications if they are from meets, but verifications from webcam/phone have to be displayed permanently, or else deleted by the user. |

Present method - 3 clicks and get the results I want
New method - 6 clicks and have to scroll down page further to get the same results.
Result:- now takes longer and without a mouse to use - more fiddly.
Simple Solution:- have NO boxes ticked as a default
Lots of new options though, but perhaps they could appear at the BOTTOM of the page, then you could just keep adding more and more options for people who want to narrow their search. (There seems to be a lot of requests for extra options which I suggest only a small %age of members would actually ever use) |

The profiles are ordered by last online so if you get to profiles that are older than you wan to see... stop scrolling
