finding someone in a chatroom

Wonder if its possible to search for someone in a chatroom. Had a friend in one, but couldn't locate them in time to tell them about a meet.

Thats great, but in a chatroom you don't always look at messages ..

as per all the other threads on the same subject this week

would want an opt out so you couldn't be found

also just because someone's in chat doesn't meant they are in a room they could be privately chatting to some one

and left the room.
