can we revisit this idea again....
I did suggest a solution that would free up spaces for new forums......
since the overseas ones are rearly/ very lightly used.... how about merging US,Canada,Australia and New Zealand and World Wide...
Call one... "Europe", another "Rest of the World".... and there you now have 3 new forum spaces...
one can be dedicated to Club Meets requests..... because these are spilling into other sections of the site.....
and then putting it to the general mass as to what they want to do with the other two.....
for example, I'd like one set up as a socials event calandar..... where you could set up a thread for each day... and it helps organisers with the planning so that events dont clash...... |

Are you aware that aside from Moderation considerations, there is no limit to how many Forums *could* exist?
There really is no need to consolidate forums to "make space", though your suggestion has merit for lightly used forums, simply because it would make them easier to moderate. Consolidation wouldn't give "new forum spaces", it would simply mean a shorter forums list.
If Fab wanted to they could have 1,000 Forum sections, and it would make little or no difference, except someone would have to Moderate those 1,000 forums.
