Verifications "saved" but are not.

Bug Report:

First thing to state is that I 100% AGREE with this rule:

Fab does NOT allow a single male to verify a profile that has "blocked single males" AND the single male is not friends with the profile.

However the bug report is that fab allows the single male to write the verification and then states that it has been "saved". However the verification simply disappears.

Suggested solution: In the same way messaging is blocked a screen should appear after "Verify" has been clicked stating that the profile has blocked all single males. Fab should not allow the verification to be written and to state that it has "been saved".

Why is this a bug? I have met two couples now at parties etc. We had a great time and they verified me. They have single males blocked. I wrote them one but it disappeared as stated above. They chased me for a verification and I said I had written one and it had been saved. They of course never received the verification. This leads to a lot of confusion and they thought I was too lazy or stupid to return the verification. Had fab stated that it was not possible without being friends we would have had a much smoother time and less head scratching and accusations!

The same problem occurs when the person trying to verify is outside the restricted age range.

This is clearly a problem and has led to some misunderstandings for us and gorgeous single guys we have met. Thanks for stating the the problem so well Auzzieguy.

Been that was for over 3 years (that we know of)..with filters that block verifications..

But good luck with your efforts.

oh, even being friends doesn't mean you'll get them either.

filters will block veri's regardless of friendship status - we've had this with previous profiles.

we just had to resort to remove all filters to get verified previously.

"If you can't message them because of blocks/filters, any verification you try to leave won't save

(Otherwise we figure some people would just use the verification system to bypass that)

Thats the bug. Fab allows you to write one and then says that the verification is saved! This is the issue. It causes confusion. Change the code to prevent the verification in the first place.

it is annoying to type one out not to be able to save it

"Remove your filters - simples "

In my case at least

I had the problem as we'd both stayed in the same hotel using the Wifi nothing to do with filters
