Supporters chat room

Good afternoon site owners/mods

I was wondering if the site supporters chat room could be used to more benefit.

No one goes in currently so why not hold a regular Q&A session about the site in the room. This could be done say monthly for an hour and allow site supporters a chance to discuss ideas etc with you.

How about if there were two seperate rooms for example North and South of England. The Scottish and Wales rooms seem popular. Maybe replace the supporters room and the lobby?

Why do we all want to be segregated into this room and that room ?

I wasnt suggesting swinging apartheid. Just sometimes especially in the cam room there are so many people in there that it would be nice to know i could pop in a room and chat to people within a reasonable distance from where we live with a view to saying hi and maybes arranging a meet or social drinks. There could always be a large communal room for everyone, and as there is a London room this doesnt seem to have caused many problems.

But where do we draw the line ??

If I had my way, there'd be No Scotland, Wales, London, or any other area / interest specific room ..

We'd have chatroom 1,2,3,4,5,6 ..... and the Directors room

well a few of us pop in and out of the supporters room for a private natter now and then, think its a good use of the room.

But why do we feel the need for interest or location specific rooms ?

Aren't we all on the same site, in pursuit of the same or similar interests ?

Surely the whole point of location specific rooms is so that you can go in and speak to ppl who are or could be local to you therefore more interested in meeting??

I agree with the above. We are here with a view to meeting people within a reasonable distance to have a few drinks and some fun. I just think area chat rooms would make it easier to arrange meets and things like social dos and partys. I appreciate you can exchange msn adreses via a mail but we try to keep our msn limited to people we either regularly chat to or have met/cammed with.

site is great as it is, we can all visit all the rooms and chat to all different kinds of members, i think its great. and more people that pay their money for use of supporters room, it will soon come into its own
