is it time we have (FAB APP) for premium members?

Is it a good idea to have fab-app for these who want premium and discretion service. Instead of logging into your browser every time. You can use your app as alternative. use your profile name to login into your app. Please this is just a suggestion. I am not advocating to the website management to enforce the use of app.

This could be good for some and bad for others.

We personally wouldn't want a fab app on our phones.

Only takes a second to pop the phone down without locking it to check an over flowing pan on the hob, and one of our kids to have a look on our phones and bingo.....the secrets out!!!

What would an app do that the mobile site doesn't already?

And how would it be discrete?

Not sure if I'm totally missing the point

Apple don't allow adult content, so while there could probably be a native app for android phones, you'd likely never get one past Apple.

An actual App is usually better than a mobile version of the site. Fab's mobile site is actually usable, which is thankful - but open don't quite agree it's an 'app' as commonly viewed. Sure, it is an application to view different formatting, but it's a tad misleading!

However, it'd be unwise making the app 'premium only'. To make back the investment & maintenance on it, there should at least be advertisements for non-paying members. Perhaps remove them if the user has taken out a subscription?

Of course, only the owners know the finances involved, so it's not for me to.judge!

Nope, it's just a shortcut to the mobile site

It's a shortcut to the fab mobile website but it still uses your phone's browser.

"A faB app already exists "

Its not really an "App" as such. Its a mobile/tablet friendly version of the site. The clue is in the m.fabswingers URL

How would an app help in any event? It would just be another method of viewing content already available, surely? And it would require separate maintenance.

Additionally, think of the masses that would download it just because it's 'there'. I think it would introduce a large number of people not really into the lifestyle, so to speak - just for a quick lay à la Tinder.

Hopefully that doesn't come off as too prejudice or elitist (by God, no way I'm an elite swinger!)

I, for one, really enjoy being able to use the app store without having thousands of apps advertising heterosexual porn or strip poker thrust at me. I think it's actually really nice that they don't have adult content on there.

Think its a terrible idea, I think swinging is something that if you want to do it you should search for it, not stumble upon an app and think hmm think ill have a look at that.

"Apple don't allow adult content, so while there could probably be a native app for android phones, you'd likely never get one past Apple."

There are a number of adult apps already available on Apple including swingers apps. Despite several requests, we can't even get Fab to add France as a country where a number of members live and hundreds holiday at Cap D'Agde every year....

We should add that the Apple swingers apps are mainly aimed at the U.S. market.

A well designed app should use less data than viewing a mobile site through a browser and it wouldn't show up in the browser history which nowadays can also be seen from a desktop if you leave it logged in i.e. this desktop also shows my browser history from my phone.

In our case it doesn't really matter as only Debs and I use the pc but I can see it would be a problem for some people.

This has been a problem for me as it showed up on my home browser page when I logged in on a school computer! An app would be a great idea. Until then I've had to unlink my email accounts to stop this from happening again

"An actual App is usually better"

Really, thats not my experience, most apps don't allow you to zoom the text, which is almost always way to small, and require much more tapping to get to where you want. All most apps are are customized browsers, don't need dozens of them clogging up my phone.

Here occasionally, but mostly somewhere else

The differences between "an app" and a bookmarked link to the mobile site are relatively slight, and site supporters get extra benefits already, whether on desktop or mobile site.

The OP's criteria are therefore broadly fulfilled, at least to a reasonable degree.

Those of you worried about your browsing history... you could download an additional browser, hide that in an obscure folder and use that solely for coming on here. A bit fiddly, but certainly enough to stop kids getting to it in 5 seconds...

The fab icon isn't an app. It's a faster way for people to log onto fab via browser. An actual fab app (that you can download via iTunes or whatever) could be a good idea...

I don't have a problem with using the browser, I always have it logged on

its very different, as with everything you will get people accidentally stumble on it, after its only behind a internet search engine, but it doesnt need thrusting into more peoples faces that think, oh swingers site, women will drop there knickers easily, theres already far to many of them, leave fab where it is.
