Are they the same friends you have winked before?
If you have winked someone before and they haven't deleted them previously then, although they get a message saying they have received a wink, it won't show up as a "new wink" on their wink counter.
Maybe that is the problem? |

There are two bugs/issues with winks:
1. If someone winks you and removes themself from the site you see a notification email but no wink. We're not sure what the work around for this is. Probably to show the wink but with "user not on site" as their name.
2. We think there is also another bug where if someone has winked you once, if they wink you again the notification is generated but the wink isn't generated.
We think that one wink is all that's reasonable otherwise people may wink dozens of times. So we are looking into this and we'll fix it.
We'd like to reassure you that no one is getting new winks that are "disappearing".
Appreciate everyone bringing it to our attention.
