I haven't seen a post about the current problems, so I thought I'd ask if there was an ETA to solve them?
Problems seem to be:
Intermittent lockups - you type but nobody else sees it - you no longer see any other chat. Can sometimes be sorted by opening and closing another room.
Numerous users apparently been in the room for 20 hours - they seem to stay even when everybody else gets kicked out.
No unfair favourites though! Clarice* has currently been in the room for 13:56  |

Oh, another symptom:
You frequently see posts which have to be in reply to posts that haven't been displayed in your chat. This is confirmed by couples who have separate logins and are physically side by side on different PCs. One sees post and other doesn`t. |

We've rebooting the service now to resolve some of these issues.
We are working behind the scenes on an update for newchat which will improve stability and fix bugs. This will be going live later in Summer. We hope to have newchat fully active and stable by end of November and are working hard to make this happen
