I have a 1 unread msg indicated on my read msgs page. But none indicated in the list of msgs on my page. Any ideas?

we been having problems with winks ,the system tells us we got winks when we open them it just deletes before we get a chance to view, must be system clich.

more north lincs than mids!

it may be that the person who sent the message left before you could get the message. I've heard of that happening before

Sorry, that can't be it. Somebody once sent me a message then immediately closed the account (yes really - no, you don't want to know!).

The message remained.

Either cached data in your browse (in which case delete temp internet files

Or unread message below those visible in your inbox: Delete some to see

If neither of those work contact us

This happens if user winks then deletes themselves.

Yeah i got a question i bet u cant answer:

Wot happens to all the "UNREAD" messages,,,if people never open um,,,and i noticed in my unread messages ive got loads,,but the ones that do get read or seen to the others seem to "slip" further down n down unread so wot happens to um when they get to the bottom of the page they just dissapear or wot?

plz help?

They just drop off the bottom until you delete or save the ones at the top.....they will appear at the bottom then

Thanks admin. i tried your second suggestion and deleted a load of readable messages this exposed an unread message on the list i deleted it and problem solved. Thanks x
