Messages to those on friends list

Would it be useful to have friends messages separate from normal traffic. Those ladies that get inundated wouldn't have to sift through lots of messages to find freinds list. Any thoughts ?

The thought that came to mind was 'wow a guy who gets so many messages he needs this'

You might have a point though.
