"i ignore winks if ppl cant be arsed to write a message i cant be arsed to wink back lol"
where as I/we on the other hand like winks, if someone's good enough to wink and we like the look of their profile then we wink back, then it's back in their hands to message. |

I prefer a wink to a message and encourage them
I would much rather get a wink from a well written profile than a message from someone that I think has a rubbish profile
People moan all the time about messages being deleted or ignored,Im just making life a bit easier for people
If I like someone ill wink or send a message back to start the ball rolling
I have met some fabulous people because of a wink |

I agree with you. A wink to me, means someone might be interested, and would like to know more about me. |

I think I still agree with Kitten, if someone can't be bothered to write a message, why should you take notice of a wink.
Isn't it the easy option to wink at someone in the hope they will make the next move ? |

There is'nt going to be a wrong or right answer
Some people like them and some don't, for every point you make about sending a message I could come back with one for sending a wink
Everyone should do what they feel is best for them |

we are happy with winks its a nice way for someone to let us know they're interested, if we like them we wink back or message them. At the end of the day it beats someone taking a long time writing a message for us to look at their profile and decide they're not for us. No one has wasted their time then. |

To me a wink is a bit like catching someones eye in the 'real world' - obviously I like the look of the winkee and maybe if they wink back they like the look of me, so it makes the next step easier. After all I dont just start talking to strangers in bars etc... well not since THAT restraining order .ahem! |
