i cant view active cams, my cam is displaying but isnt showing, i have updated, removed all traces of new and old versions of java, i have removed all versions of flashplayer and to no avail can anyone view my cam, nor can i view any active cams, somoene said it maybe something to do with my account.

Anyhelp please...

deselected active x filtering, removed and reinstalled active x controller, google chrome doesnt even work..

have to try other browsers, have you made sure your cam software it up to date, are you logged on as admin on your computer?

logged in as administrator, java installed, shockwave flash installed, active x controller uptodate:

just done fresh installs of both java and flash under:

net user administrator account:active

everything seems to be working, i only have an administrator account uac turned off, active x filtering off, still no active cams, nor my cam seems to be showing, although on my system it says cam is on, and functioning, but to everyoneelse its not visible? help please... someone mentioned it could be something wrong with my account on fab?

The only way your account would effect chat is if you were banned, and you can't be or you wouldn't be able to enter chat.

Have you tried the following tips?

My cam won't work in newchat but it works in old

Check the following:

1. There is a 2nd link to activate your cam. If the main one doesn't work, use the secondary one which says in red "(Above not working? Click here)".

2. You need to be using the latest version of Adobe Flash player. You can download Flash at the adobe site

3. Check you don't have any other software accessing your cam. If you do, close it down.

4. Try it in another browser e.g. Google Chrome

5. If you're still not getting any joy, reboot your PC, ensure that any cam software is closed then try the above steps again.

Include your browser type and version, the operating system you are using, what make and model Cam you have and describe exactly what you see. If you can't access the forum you can contact us directly with your feedback.
