It used to be the case that if people changed their relationship status ie. Couple to single, single to couple, they would have to start a whole new profile, now it seems increasingly common that people are changing their status and their profiles, keeping their verifications in the process...just wondering if there has bee a change in policy and what people think about this, it's confusing and sometimes a bit off putting for me to read veris for people who are now single and have meets as a couple, even more so when they met as singles, so now single women have veris extolling the virtues of a single meet with their male former partners... |

I've been thinking about this a lot lately. I don't think people should be able to change status. If they have verifications it gets very confusing. Also it's not fair on the ex partner for the one with the profile to continue to use it.
I think if anyone wants to change status they should have to start a new profile.

It has always been allowed but it depends on certain factors.
Admin do often say for people to contact them if they want it changed and they will review. Here is one below.
