Is there any way we could easily separate out social veris from play meets?
Just seen a few comments about excessive veris... and a lot of meets can be social - would be handy to see that at a glance

Why is there need to separate the two? Surely the point of verifications is to prove that you meet people and you are who you say you are? Yes?
It doesn't matter one iota if they have more socials than play meets, that could be for a variety of reasons.
Goodness me whatever next? Verification catagories for what sexual acts they do/don`t perform?  |

I would also like the cam veri removed as well, or make them so you cannot hide them, remember this is a swingers site, to us its all about meeting people who like sex, and are looking for sex, will it happen no because to many time wasters, day dreamers, etc.
we use Facebook for socializing why not try it , you can even post photos of food.. lov and peace Connie xx |

I only write social veris, even if I've played with them. I have a social/coffee meet first and writ the veri based on that.
As a single female what I want from a veri is if they turned up, if they are as described on their profile, are they presentable and comfortable to be with. Sexual attraction is so individual that I'm not interested in whether anyone else wanted to or did fuck him. Nor do I need to know how many positions or if he made her gush. |

Total agreement to the o p why not put on profile lot of your meets are social and or as i do i only show my veris to folk when there is realistic chance of a meet otherwise folk have no need to see them the summary shows the amount etc. |

wow, ehm no, i wouldn't suggest veri on what sexual acts happen - its why I took all the interest tick boxes off, some folks saw it as a menu, and expected to pick and choose, rather than go with the flow.
as for social veri - it comes up time and again in other threads that some people think you can have too many veris, and as loads of swingers enjoy a good social, and may well get loads of veris from a social, I just thought it would help.
And yes, I do use facebook for socialising, but fab is a different group of friends, but still social to me - maybe I'm one of those weird people who think fab is for more than a fuck |

I'd like a different colour tick for cam veris to meet (whether play or social) veris - if all the veris are hidden (and the summary) then it's hard to see whether the person has ever actually met before. Cam veris aren't worth anything in my personal opinion. |

Absolutely.
Veris by webcam are meaningless. Worth a fraction more than the old verification by phone call.
But as you say, lots of people like to pretend they swing so they'll remain.

Personally I like to see verifications as an indicator of who the person im looking at has previously met with..
I agree cam veri should have a different colour tick or flag..I dont like meeting people that have the summary hidden and no veris displayed as I get the impression they had a cam veri and dont actually turn up to meets..
Ref what a person does or doesnt do at a meet re sex.. why not find out via messages if ur that concerned?
I have alot of social meets.. I socialise here aswell as play here.. Facebook banned me for posting boob pix haha |

I can see a valid point on this. Many people publish none of their veris. It just shows as a tick and the statement verified genuine.
Don't always take these as serious because...could be JUST cam veris ...they never meet. Or just ONE veri from another profile they set up.
I prefer to read the veris and also to check on WHO verified them etc...
Not fool proof but does help to dredge out the wasters. |

Verifications are meaningless? I disagree. My verifications show that I am a decent bloke, always turn up and you are safe meeting me.
Agreed, it is someonelse's opinion but a range from different people - well, it's hard to fake that.
I mean - if you want to hire a builder - do you choose at random out of the phone book - or do you seek feedback from others? I always choose personal recommendations first... |

I ignore cam veris. They prove nothing about meeting. Other veris I just use to see that the person exists, are what they say they are and meets (tho that's no guarantee that they will turn up for a meet with me) Common sense and social meet before and then decide whether its going to go further. |

I think the point here is the usefulness of veris .... If someone is well verified then a single girl will feel less worried than if they aren't .
Regarding the op ... Social veris are OK as at least we know the person exists and are who they say they are and if they could be identified as social only then great .
Webcam veris are a complete waste of time and should be done away with .
We only get play veris and are pleased to say we have no social ones at all |

As for the OP...I'm honestly not arsed about the meets being split between socials and play meets but what would stop someone asking for social veris instead of play veris to keep the numbers in their favour? Or what happens if someone leaves a play veri for a social meet by mistake? Sounds like a ballache to me to be honest! |
