Is there any chance that the green arrow link to past forum posts could be added to profile views and not just accessible from the forum itself? I know everyone doesn't use the forum but I suspect most people have a dabble at some point.
Might be another handy tool for deciding to meet a person if you can see their forum history. For example, if someone has posted a "profile advice" thread and has removed things like being married or changed sexuality because of the advice given.
Or if someone has views you really don't like and wouldn't want to meet them.
I shall prepare to be shot down of course. Dons tin hat. |

But I'd say it's akin to looking at veris. Many's a time I've looked at veris and though "not touching that with a bargepole".
Could have an option to turn it off like veris. |

Aye I think it would be handy.
It's sometimes very interesting what comes out in forums. Although I have to say the people we have met that post as well are just as lovely as we think / thought they are anyway |

True, this has been my experience also. But saying that have never yet met any of the people that post the stuff I want to avoid.
For me personally, with Scotland having its own forum that I don't usually frequent, it'd be nice to be able to see if a potential meet has posted there and what it contained. If it was "Yay for UKIP" then it'd go no further |

I think it is a wonderful idea and something I'd thought about recently as something that would be really useful.
At the end of the day all the forums are public so anything written there can be seen by all members but if adding the arrow was default but members had the choice to hide it like the verification summary then I think this would be beneficial, and if any users don't want it on their profile they can opt to hide it. |

Click on the green arrow next to any poster's name. Then in the internet address bar, delete that profile name and enter the profile name you want to look up their posts.. |

Yes, but how do you find posts by someone without having to find the green arrow next to a post they have posted? Think the OP wants a green arrow by the side on the profile page? |

Like I just said. Click on anyone's green arrow then just type in the profile name of who you want to look up. No need to search for their posts. |

This morning seen yet another thread asking for profile advice where a guy has been told to remove bareback anal pics.
The ability to see stuff like this from a profile would be excellent.
Green arrow for all!! |

think it would be a brilliant idea but doubt it would happen....
after all the forum is a small part of the site, and anything that is going to possibly make people look worst on a profile for the whole site to possibly see wouldn't go down well.... |

Or, when you are looking at someones profile just change the word profile in the link to forum-poster like this

Scarlet suggested that above. For the odd one that's fine, But if you're browsing profiles or answering a few messages and there's a few to do that could get old quickly.
Or if like me you're using the mobile app 99% of the time its even more of a faff.
Just thought a clickable link might be easier in this day and age of clicking stuff. |

Hmmmm - didn't even ever notice a green arrow!!! Lol. But sounds a great idea ..... Would certainly help you to learn more about people as to their views, tolerances or not!
