I think the point the original poster is trying to make is - why would you not want to verify yourself (referring to couples ) when it takes a second - there are a lot of single men (not all )pretending to be couples which are sometimes maybe fantasists or pic Collectors Ergo the presumption is if you are verified it's more likely you are couple - and before the protagonist kick off - we understand that it's a choice!

Nope just don't feel the need to make people do something they don't want to just to make life easier for some who can't spot a fake. Use the other tools available along with some common sense and you won't go wrong. |

The point op makes is that the majority of people are genuine , just a few bad apples do spoil it for others , if you are going to put up pictures anyway , is it a problem to get verified , as you say use the tools and one of them is to show you re verified - we are all entitled to an opinion which he has made . I guess anything can be faked if you have the know how but we like the photo verification....the first thing we were offered when we joined the site was a fake " verification to get us started " by someone on here....needless to say reported and blocked |

I think that the crucial point is, that like a lot of sites eg eBay - is trust - everybody has the capacity to be honest and dishonest!
A majority of people on this site are photo verified ( couples ) can't speak for single profiles , yes not ever body is fake that's correct , as a rule of thumb , by the number of adverts that state must be verified, clearly a tool that helps , is better than nothing ? Just our opinion and we are not forcing it in any one lol  |

photo verifying only shows that a male or female pic was sent to accompany a male or female or couples profile , it does not mean people are genuine swingers or will genuinely meet . If you look at a lot of the cammers profiles its all webcam verifications only proves they like to exhibit on cam doesnt prove them a genuine meeting swinger . so no i dont think its worth MAKING anyone get photo verified. |

Asking all new users to photo-verify is something that is asked quite often. It's not something we'll ever do.
If you think not having photo-verification means someone is more likely to be a timewaster it's super easy to choose not to interact with those people already

We aren't photo verified. Are we time wasters? Nope. Have we met people for sex off here? Yes. Have we met others at nights out? Yes. Have we been on cam? Yes.
In our opinion it isn't necessary, and it only shows that someone can write their own username and FabSwingers, then hold a piece of paper and take a pic at the same time. And most single men couldn't do that as men can't multitask!  |

Yep, filters are a great help on Fab, I use them so don't worry about a pic veri but at end of the day I would be more interested if someone had a meet veri - but have met someone who had neither pic not meet veri and still meeting him 5 years later - without the graphic details, but then not everyone uses veri's so as to be discrete, same as not showing friends list that make sense? lol does to me  |

We are not saying that all the people on the site that haven't photo verified themselves are fake, we just think that it would put a lot of fake people off, for instance there are many people that seem to be annoyed at the amount of men pretending to be a couple surely having to photo verify yourself when joining would make this at least a little harder.  |

I would say that from all the other posts on the same thing that neither being pic verified nor having to prepay membership work, and after all this is a free site with filters that all can use to block profiles who don't match out preferences, i.e, single me, new members, unverified etc.,
To be honest in 5 years on this site I have only had 2 fake profiles contact me, but they are so easy to suss out - I won't go into detail as I think 2 fakes in 5 years says a lot, no offence, I haven't read your profile, but maybe check it and reduce your criteria on what you are looking for?.

Give me a user name and gender I could have a photo veri worthy pic back in 5 mins. A lot of things fab offer are tools to help but on their own mean very little. Common sense and gut feeling go a long way |

There are loads of fake guys who have been photo verified. They take a pic of themselves then get the gren flag, then they steal pics of hotter guys and display them, saying it's them. The green flag just means the person is a man, not they're the person in the pics you see. The only way it would work (as it does on other sites) is if you have to display your veri pic. then they can't get around it. |

We don't want to, have never felt the need to and have lots of verifications evidencing that we meet and are who we say we are...are you suggesting we should leave the site for the sake of a picture with our user name on it?
We never even look to see if people are photo verified as to be honest we see them as worthless...They prove nothing at all..
What would you say they add to the site? Or people's profiles? |

OP...if I had to photo verify when I joined the site I would not have joined as I wasn't sure how much I trusted the site (nothing against the site, but at the time it was very new to me and I was wary). By the time I'd had 4/5 meet veries and decided this was the site for me I kind of figured it was pointless getting photo verified as surely meet veries are more relevant? There are filters provided which you can use to block non-verified members, if you feel that will stop fakes and timewasters messaging you then use them...but I have had some great meets with non-verified members |

We pay no attention at all to whether a profile is pic verified or not.
We also ignore cam veries for the same reason, they are too easily faked.
The site dumped phone veries, not sure why as they are a lot harder, if not all but impossible, to fake.
For us, the only veries worth paying attention to are meet in person veries, especially play ones, at least you know then that, whilst it doesn't gaurauntee you will like them or play with them, at least you know they are genuine swingers. |

These suggestions are merely to reducethe amount of bullshitters, it won't get rid if everyone as a determined fraudster will always find a way.......just saying it'll detract many and make the site more pleasant for all us genuine people.
Of course, a meet verification trumps everything, and quite rightly so.
I suggest charging single guys to join as they are traditionally the problem on here, once verified, refund or give a free months site support. Then to avoid them posing as women or couples, make them photo verify.

I am computer thick and also thick using my phone so im not photo verified but then it's also my choice. This doesn't mean im not genuine and people can see that by my veris. |

Why do I need to be photo verified to prove I am a man ?
I have verifications from other site users saying what I am like and that I am male; why would a photograph help.
Even I with a little patience could fake a picture to get photo verified how would that help ? |

The only time we've ever had a total no show from time wasters was on another site where oops have to pay quite considerable monthly subscriptions...We usually find fakes and time wasters easy to identify using a few site tools, common sense and communicating with our big rather than our small head... |

In normal life 55% of communication is non verbal and in the case case we also lose the voice inotations then people need to be more aware of what is being "said" or typed.
95% of timewasters can be caught out by their profiles, the rest are easily caught out by chatting to them, not mail as that gives them time to make their stories up. |

Some people do. There was a similar thread and a couple said they mail the person's veri's to do a sort of 'personality check' on them, and ask what they're like! Mental and totally rude. |

Don't really take much notice of Photo verifications, what does it prove?
Nothing, just that someone uploaded an image of a couple, single guy or female, but are they real swingers? Who knows!
Best thing is to look for meet verifications, from fellow FAB community members, that way at least you can see they play and turn up.
But due to too many timewasters/wanna bees/dreamers, on here these days (as we ONLY meet Single Guys) we go to clubs instead, that way we know what we are getting and we use FAB for socialising with friends we have already met and arrange to meet at clubs.
By arranging to meet at a club if they don't show who's bothered, plenty more fun to be had..lol |

I just passed this and thought it wont work. I know of 1 guys on here and 1 woman who are photo verified as a couple and individual, and let me tell you they are nothing like there profile pics. I got the shock of my life when we met i thought WTF needless to say the meet never got further than the pub bar, i was off. |
