Ive posted this in the site support thread too :
So as a verified user myself I believe my verifications prove im a good reliable genuine guy ! They say that should anyone ask to see them ...
But someone who's shown themselves on Webcam gets the same green tick and all the benefits that go with it !
Isnt it time we had a two tier verification system ? One for webcammers if thats your thing another for those that meet .
Especially in this day and age where a persons safety has to be upmost ?

They mean very little to us anyway, they're subjective and ones view of a person/s won't be the same as anothers.
All they do for us is show that that person/s has met somebody and is a fliter for us when deciding who we'd like to contact.
We take no real notice of them either way to be honest. Rather make our minds up using other means too. |

I like pic verification. A common thing you find is guys pretending to be women. The photo verification at least tells me it is a woman I am chatting to.
For women, I can't imagine there are many girls pretending to be guys so it not quite as useful maybe |

We do not class or accept webcam as verifications that folk are genuine all it shows is someone on a cam proves nothing as to whether the person is nice etc. |

We think a verification by meeting is very important, if a person has a substantial amount of verifications by meeting different people and they all say the person is polite and reliable then chances are its true.
Verification by webcam or picture says nothing at all about a persons character and just chatting on phone isnt that reliable either, some people are very good at concealing their true nature and sometimes a very polite individual over the phone turns into a complete numpty when met. |

Doesn't really matter what's done to the verification system, people will still find all the loopholes to make false accounts look genuine.
Take away webcam verifications and you will end up being viewing cams and verifying via meet when they haven't met resulting in more fakes
Personally I ignore what a verification says as I don't trust them or the system as I've had far too many msgs from accounts that are all verified but with fake images with the only intention to gather pics and mislead |

Dont understand how you can say a person who has been verified by several people who themselves have been verified by meeting others can be a fake, surely this is the safest form of verification? |

A pic verification is very useful. Would you meet a couple who state they're in a relationship but (a) have no pic veri flag, (b) have no joint pics and yet been on more than a year, and (c) the only veri they have proves the guy exists?
My point is that guys make up couple profiles... A flag is an important tool  .
My fwb and i have that in hand for Monday  , but others have met us together  |

However I disregard people who don't publish veris or have the synopsis, so it still kind of works  . |

Bit of an ott way to explain this but imagine you get a msg, several veris saying great guy/girl, get send pics and its of a porn star/celeb etc = fake! I've even had a pic verified account send fake pics which I reported and admin removed.
As for the veris, one fake veris another fake profile and in theory if someone had no life they could create an account with 5-6 veris by meets and all of them faked.
The systems easily fooled so doesn't matter how they edit or change it there will still be some that manage it so to me just leave it as it is and use search and common sense |

Guys should provide a compulsory verification photo with fab id and the days date..but hey there more intrested in monthly subscription. .to many guys on here posing as woman..I gave a guy my number he was texting for a while sending me pics on wattap ect..then few months later after not speaking I gave my number to a female on here..she wattaped me n guess what it was the guy from before I still had the messages from months before sick cunt |

well actually yes u do cos my verification summary is on show and i show my verifications to people i want to meet !
I dont put them on my profile as some badge of honour its just not me .
My playing is private but as i say i show to anyone that matrers |

For me veris are one small way of building a picture of a potential meet. Veris given to and by that person. In fact I use the entire profile. |

It's one of those things that I just can't get my head round but having said that we all use the site the best way for us so nothing is wrong as long as it works. |

As someone who isn't 'meet' verified and oretty new to the site i couldn't agree more with this post.
Saying that, i've had a couple offers to verify me with no meet so anyway you do it's open to abuse |
