setting accounts to friends only

Just had a thought that on a few other sites I'm on you can set your whole profile to only be visible to friends.
If you click on the profile to view say from a forum or chat room you get a message to say you must be a friend to view this account. Avatars are blurred too if not friends.
Just an idea but would be good if it was available |

You chat and if they Want to send you photos they can . But there are loads that have their settings so only they can contact others...
You can see the summary etc it works well on other sites |

Because you see a summary a bit like how it appears on a hotlist.ie where, ages.
There are many other sites that you can not view a full profile just the basics unless a friend.

I'm feeling similar to Foe, what attracts me in the first place are the photos but if I can't see anything, I could end up chatting to guys I then find I'm not interested in. Sorry but it's a no from me |

This site is used to meet new people not just keep I n touch with those you know... It would make it harder to meet new people so go against what in think is the whole idea of a swinging site.
On a different kind of site I look for different things so use privacy settings, that's not my aim here.

It would go against the financial income of the site.
Single men, the biggest group, would be frustrated even quicker if they couldn't even see all a profile.
It would quickly raise the number of friend requests also.
Couples like us, will look at a profile together before deciding whether to make contact, so with this option in place, fabs would be useless to us.
The forums alone, wont keep us paying site supporter.
If it works well on other sites, use those other sites |

Nope read the threads, single women and couples and even single men dont want other single men even looking at their profiles.
So as a couple I guess we would be ok, but single men...... if they cant see single women, couples or other men's profiles.... what would they do here? |

Is this suggestion coming off the back of you being outed? Its like a stable door being locked after the horse has bolted situation
I would have thought it easier to just always have face pics in private if there was a fear of that happening |

well said my pictures are private just so people can't see who i Am just by clicking on my public profile .if we became friends via message then they can see me |

Just put your pics friends only why put the your profile just friends this is a swinging site not social network and plus you just get more ramdoms trying to add you |

I would just hide me profile so no bugger can see me cos me friends already know what I look like. Oh hang on that's what I have done |
