Met with a 'non-verified' woman and I've left 2 verifications for her but she's now contacting me asking why I haven't verified her yet...I verified her yesterday and again today...but still no joy apparently

Has she checked the 'Manage Verifications' link on her profile? She has to select to show the verification if it is there....
Or have you used the same internet connection at all?

There's a good possibility we've used the same internet connection...I let her use my wifi when we met as the phone signal is terrible here.

In which case.... from FAQ:
Verifications we try to leave for another user aren't being saved
If you're trying to verify another account that you have created yourself or you're trying to verify someone who is using the same PC as yourself, or you're on the same internet connection, then the verification won't be recorded. We do this to stop people creating fake accounts and verifying them themselves. |

out of curiousity what happens in flats when you all share the same internet connection and pay for it in service charges. how does that work |

They all have to send copies of their service charges bills to Admin, along with a letter from the landlord confirming single occupancy of the flat and then Admin cross-reference that with the records of Council Tax. Happens all the time  .

go to a library, or a Starbucks, or tesco, or a motorway services, or basically anywhere with a free wifi and login and verify there? |
