Just wondering if there were any plans for developing a mobile site? It would be great to keep up with messages and have a flirt on the go.

Here occasionally, but mostly somewhere else

I bow to nobody in my techno-geekery, but isn't logging in to the site via the internet on our phones enough?

I'd rather my subscription money was spent on something more universal than an expensive (to develop) app that'll only get criticism from users of other platforms (or do you want it developed for iphone/blackberry/android - treble the expense) and will barely be used by the majority of site users anyway.

Would prefer to see a forum overhaul, tbh.

Although the site does load well on most phone browsers I would like to see a proper mobile version of at least the forums, just so it makes it easier to browse.

I see your point but I think that both aspects can be achieved simultaneously.

Ideally I'd like to see a complete overhaul too. Doing this could be a win-win situation... replace the existing platform with a forum using vBulletin and install the free Tapatalk component for mobile browsing. Minimal financial cost, minimal overhead for the Admin and maximum benefit for the users (more functionality, easier to use, properly supported tool, etc...).

I'm sure there'd be some negative feedback initially from the usual suspects, but I really think this would be the ideal approach to take as it resolves both issues at once.

Any thoughts...?

I'd love to see something vBulletin-based - and if it makes things easier for mobile users too, so much the better.

(I do often browse on here from my mobile, so am not taking sides).

I think chat may be a bit hopeful though....

Yes, I think you're right. Although that's not necessarily a bad thing... I'd never get any work done if the chat was accessible via my mobile
