Be loads better if we could halt the scrolling or at least have the facility to clear screen text. It jumps when you try and make your way up to where things were left being read

Really hard to keep tabs on things particularly at peak times or when rooms are full.

So bump !

Other sites chat boxes do this easy enough to add. Thoughts Mods/Admin & other users ?

It might help you if you need to look back for an event date or a link to a forum post, BUT you've now got a backlog of those posts made when you had the brake on, do you now ignore those ones and jump back to "the present" or do you scroll through them? It won't make any sense to others in the room if you comment on them... While you read those, the backlog is getting bigger... etc.
