Verifications Display Suggestion

At the moment, any verification can be set to be hidden from view or displayed to all. It would be great to have a third option for 'friends only', just like we currently have with photos.
We think this would be useful - hopefully others feel the same way  |

Seems a popular idea.
But surely your friends would already know you're genuine - and isn't that the point of veri's?
Surely it's more important to show them to those you're engaging with for the first time? Or to the 'audience' you're hoping to engage with? |

The point is that there are folk on here , who like to see everyone a person has met .
Some won't meet those who have met bi men.
Others hear rumours about this who play bare and avoid anyone they have been with .
Of course , this seems a bit over the top to some , but there we are .
This new system wouldn't change anything though would it ?
Surely you could still keep some private ?
Or simply not ask for a veri in the first place ?

Actually many people have a long list of "friends" who they have never met!
We may add to friends people we have a good interest to meet but have yet never met. So would rather our verifications were only shown to the people we want to show them to - not on show to everyone.
Most of them we hide for varying reasons - however for people we would really consider meeting (on friends list) we'd show more.

It's turning into an interesting thread. The reason behind this suggestion is there are some veris we're happy for all to see and there are some we'd prefer to hide. Equally, there are some we'd like to share only with people we are a little closer to or interested in, i.e., our Fab friends.
It's all about choice and control over one's own profile. |

My friends list is very small as only add folk i know very well via meets or we in touch away from fab.
Pointless having list of friends you will not meet or have no contact with just to show fab folk how popular you are.
As for veris again these are useful and used only as a guide if i see others. Mine are hidden simply because there is no real need for folk to see them unless i am convinced it will lead to eventual meet and even then i only display a couple of them.
Anyone who asks to see them all i have doubts about reasons they need too and then i end the chays. |

Sounds a good idea to us, sounds like the the current system would be unaffected and those wishing to share more detailed validations with friends can do so.
We think people need to remember that because it wont necessarily be their preference it could be something other members may find beneficial. All too often someone makes a reasonable suggestion and they are shot down.
