I wonder if anyone else has had the same problem as me with the new chat room. My webcam works fine in the old one, but in the new rooms it simply doesn't appear and the mike doesn't seem to respond either.
Weirdly, if I go into the Adobe settings I can see myself in the cam preview...
Anyone got any ideas? |

The cam is a drverless USB 2.0 camera with a built in mic. IS is Vista, latest service pack, etc. I've tried Firefox 3.6, Chrome and Internet Exploder 8.. I've got the latest Adobe Flash too.
I'd you need anything more, let me know. |

Know its a silly question, but you are clicking the allow button before you enter the chatroom.
If you try and click allow after entering the chatroom it will not work.
As admin said they are working on this but may be worth trying that if you are not already doing so.

Hi,
Yeah, I've clicked allow before entering the chat room, and I've been through all the privacy settings to make sure it is allowed by default on this site anyway... |

Ive had the same problems. I put a thread on here at least 4 months ago saying a similar thing and was told they were working on it, and still it doesnt work, even after buying a new webcam. How comes it works on every other site, even on the old chatrooms on here, but not in the new one?. |

Some of the old with the new is needed in the new chat room
When you click on a persons name in chat the cam appears. This doesn't happen in the new room.
Also, being able to make the cams bigger. Very important. This also doesn't happen in the new site.
I think that there needs to be a supporters chat room, as they seem to be a lot more polite and sensitive to others. There is a lot more respect.
I hope you don't think i having a moan coz i love the fab swingers site. Its great!  |

im having the exact same problem as you mate and have tried every broswer and reinstalled cam but nothing happening. i sent them an email too about 5 months ago and said the same that they trying to fix obviously just fobbing us off, as would have been done by now, all i can do is watch and o play lol |
