A friend of mine has just tried to re-join and he's told me that on trying now admin have to aspprove all profiles first before you can be active on the site. I think its a great idea even if it does mean a bit more work for them, hoprfully less fake profiles will be flying around now. Think it will cut down all the fri-sat nite piss heads that try to join for no more than a few hours just to get laid as they will probably get bored of waiting to be approved ! Well done admin  |

I did notice last night when i did a veri for a couple at the club an extra warning screen came up re fake veris. Whilst i think its good, im thinking 'fakes' won't either read it nor care  |

I also dont like the number of new profiles that appear to be getting verified very quickly, sometimes within hours of joining, with the verify then hidden.I already have my eye on someone who has to my knowledge verified fakes.I dont beat myself up over it, but I understand it can be quite infuriating for those that invest time/money(childcare/hotels) |

from what my friends told me the approval process was supposed to take no more than ten mins and hes been waiting all night then photo verified and was approved straight away so maybe they do have to be now |

I think you should rethink about this and make it compulsory that everyone joining should be photo verified it would mean a massive drop in people making up several profiles |

No it won't , people can and will just use someone else's picture if they wish. |

And a massive drop in genuine people joining the site too...if you don't want to meet those not verified then there is a simple solution, block them! I didn't photo verify initially because I wasn't sure if this site was for me..by the time I decided it was I had 4/5 meet veries which to me are more important anyway. If I'd had to photo verify to join I wouldn't have bothered |

how can they use someone elses photo when you have to hold up a sign with ur fabswingers username and a clear face pic to prove who you are ? |

Had you quoted the whole post and not just one sentence with no context you would have seen why I personally did not upload a pic as I joined, and I'm sure it's the same for many others. I didn't even upload a 'proper' pic to facebook straight away as I wanted to decide how secure I felt in doing so first. Any site demanding a pic would be a no from me, and I think I'm pretty genuine. You can choose not to meet non-photo verified just as I can choose whether to be photo verified...not sure why that's an issue |

Although this would be good for the users from a business point if view it wouldn't be. This site relays primarily on numbers of people using the site, the more popular the site is, the more successful it will be by raising revenue though premium memberships or other ways like selling data to other companies. If they asked for every member to be verified then there would alot of people who, due to discretion purposes wouldn't join along with the fakes.
Well that's what i think anyway, could be wrong. |

think your assuming too much here.
We are genuine swingers who have enjoyed numerous meets. We do object to being photo verified for our own reasons.
Why do you need the site to manage this for you. There are plenty of filters and your own discretion as to who you meet the fakes out yourself they usually stand out like a sore thumb once you begin to chat with them. Most are pic collectors who fancy a quick yank after being down the pub and soon disappear when we refusr to send pics until weve chatted more over a period of time. |

Had you quoted the whole post and not just one sentence with no context you would have seen why I personally did not upload a pic as I joined, and I'm sure it's the same for many others. I didn't even upload a 'proper' pic to facebook straight away as I wanted to decide how secure I felt in doing so first. Any site demanding a pic would be a no from me, and I think I'm pretty genuine. You can choose not to meet non-photo verified just as I can choose whether to be photo verified...not sure why that's an issue"

Hmmm think a 3 day joining system
That way I think stop spur of the moment joining (as some1 said Friday night piss heads)
Not being able to put an add up for meets for 1 - 2 weeks. Come on we have all seen a profile just joined a hour ago then has a add up looking for a meet.
And defo be photo verified
Come admin listen to the ideas there is some good ones. Any changes can only make the site better |
