Quick question to those who know, we had two verifications from guys we met who have now for one reason or another left the site, because they have left their verifications to us are no longer available to display, whilst we understand the reasoning behind that, it seems a little unfair that we have lost two great verifications just because they left the site, after all, any posts made in the forums by people who leave the site are left on display ! |

i agree with what you are saying .
i have had the same, altho u dont loose your tick, its hard enough to get veris. i dont understand why the veri cant stay even if its headed user no longer on site, the words still matter the name of who wrote them dont so why does the veri have to disappear  |

I have lost some cracking verifications because people have left.
I am sure they could stay with the user no longer on site disclaimer added like in the forums |

Last time this came up it was said it would make it hard to see fake verifiers but i agree the veris should remain.
But then i don't think they should be removed when a block is placed between accounts.
Top tip. Screen shot your veris and keep it safe.

I do think veri's should go if you block them. If someone turns into a total stalking arsehole after I met them, I don't want my veri on their profile saying what a nice person they were.
I also think veri's should disappear when people leave. Veri's are just supposed to prove someone exists- they still have the green tick.
Veri's aren't supposed to be to brag about every minor detail about a sexual encounter. |

It only gives you an insight into the person that left the veri, not the person they left it for. |

A green tick could simply mean a penis was waved in front of a cam so to me its worth nothing.
Recent displayed met in person veris are what i look for.
Its not fair that people can (& do) use a veri as leverage.
I've had people tell me if i don't meet with them again they Will remove the veri they left me.
So i Will remove that from my profile, simples. I'll block if they become a nuisance but not to remove my veri from their profile.
A veri proves they are real, turned up or accommodate & were pleasant. What happens between the parties is of no one else's business.
If in doubt don't leave a veri in the first place. Or just verify they look like their pics. |

the summary does show, but not the actual write up. Just seems a little unfair, especially as one of the guys has since re joined with all the details as previous but the verification is gone cause he left the site for a month or two |

We've been on a number of sites and if someone leaves, the verification is removed and so is any forum posting or club review.
People shouldn't be so quick to delete their account if they are just going to come back in a few months time.
We've had lifetime membership of a worldwide paying site, and we let that go with over 60 validations. Wish we weren't so hasty, but we move on.
Once you delete your account, everything should be removed! Regardless if it loses continuity in the forums..
New posts soon take over old ones..

I don't think blocking should remove a veri, it all just seems a little petty. If someone turns out not to be the person you thought they were after you left them a glowing verification then that's your own fault for not doing your homework and being too hasty.
I know there will be some exceptions, when someone turns out to be really nasty and have managed to con someone into a meet but in that case they should be reported and admin can deal with it. If people can withdraw their veri's just because they've changed their mind or have fallen out with someone then it makes a mockery of the whole system. |

So do you mean Screenshot and send on via MMS? Also, how about keeping ticks of those whose verifications have disappeared but also state next to ticks if a meeting took place or if it was cammed. Will do a screenshot from now on in case this entire site collapses!!! |

We already do this. Just publish your verification summary to your profile from your "manage verifications" page.

I would also love a way to keep veris once people leave a site - in the same way forum posts appear, just with 'user no longer on site' instead of their name perhaps? Just because sometimes they are really nice well-written ones with lovely memories that it's a shame to part with!
I just got one re-written today when a guy rejoined and asked me to verify him again, but then things appear with the wrong date and it can complicate matters in hand shall we say, haha! |

That's all well and good but then if i have veris hidden the veri summary shows the whole number.
That's my business and mine alone.
Why give us the option to chose which veris to show if the summary forces the true number 
Also whether I've met 1 man and 10 women or vice versa; using individual veris i decide what to show.
The veri summary gives no choices so I'll never show it.
Screen shot your veris. I've even seen profiles with veris within the text. Then even if someone leaves or blocks you; you can show the text.

Because they send the ones no longer available after I've seen the other met in person veris on their profiles.
Part of my screening is displayed recent met in person veris. Without that on the profile i decline them. And i go to the profile before i open the pm  |

Oh. My. God. Are people really so uptight that they need a sexual review from someone else to make them feel good about themselves??!!!
It's supposed to prove that someone is real. Not to declare that they suck like a Dyson/ fuck like a rabid rabbit/ are the most amazing shag since life began.

Well those type do seem popular, so if people like them, let them display them.
Admitted I try and express myself differently within a veri and it's in no way a 'sexual review' Although even it is was, this site can be used by people how they want.
The actual words arnt really the point though.
Because there were people or a person behind those words.
A large number of accounts are simply left dormant so as the veri's are not removed from friends made on here, and friendships from here often carry on in real life.
Some of us actually do like to read them, and some, like myself wont meet people that are not displaying met in person veri's. It's part of my selection process, before I even consider a meet with someone. If being verified is so unimportant than why have a filter for it? |
