Prioritising messages from linked friends

Is there a way to have messages from friends moved to the top of your inbox, ahead of non-friends? Or if not - is there a way to suggest this to the site admins?

Some people get so many new messages every time they log on that it's all but impossible to maintain a conversation with someone because the messages get lost among the dozens or hundreds of new ones from non-friends.

It's quite frustrating to message someone who is a friend, and to see it stay unread or mass deleted because the practicalities of scrolling through 250 new messages on a phone screen made it easier just to wipe the lot!

Yeah I did post this earlier, but not in the appropriate section - didn't realise this one existed!

Sorry if I've broken etiquette.

I think the inbox system on here is dire threading would at least help, 'delete all replied' would help, 'delete and go to oldest', not newest would help.

Auto delete from inbox when message is saved, would help. Removing the sent box entirely would help.

The last attempt at changing the colours or sticking minuscule icons on the corners of messages... well flopped.

No one can get used to it or work with it, as it doesn't stay without being clicked on every single time.

I understand why people just mass delete now so very tempted.

It's no wonder people are so desperate to take things off site as soon as they make contact. I'd rather give out my phone number than sift through the inbox on here
