When uploading a pic, how about having to tick a box to say roughly when taken? That way we shall know if it is a recent image (assuming they don't fib) and also it will aid in catching out web pic cheats. If they claim the pic was taken within 7 days and everyone who reverse images searches finds that it was uploaded on sites 4 years ago then we know something is amiss.
Obviously not a panacea, but possibly something that may help a bit.  |

You can only see the date the photo was added if you have access via the friends list.
I have the date and time on my pics so people can see when I took them.
My latest pic were taken yesterday but if people wanted I would verify myself via cam in the chat room  |
