I would really like the deleting of messages to be a two step affair..

Somehow I have no clue how I appear to have deleted all my received messages instead of just one.

if i dont delete messages only about twenty stay on my profile anyway years ago they all stayed on until u deleted but not these days xx

The messages are still there, you just can't see them until delete newer messages

It currently is a two-stage process.

When you click 'delete all' (or 'delete read'), a prompt comes up asking you to confirm the action.
