We use private notes to record conversations, winks and outcomes. Sometimes the note is of the "do not want to meet kind".
When we review who's looked at our profile, we sometimes forget the detail about the other and have to open their profile to read the private notes.
This then means they see we've looked and we might get another wink or message.
Would be great if there was some way of indicating OUR "yes", "maybe", "no" in the lists returned on searches, event lists, who's looked at profile, email, etc... to save having to open profile to read our own private notes again.

Both ideas, but it would be so much easier to see a Y, M or N against the lists.
Not a huge development either, just another table. I can see it might have some performance issues, but with indexes set accordingly that should be able to be minimised.

I only ever use my private notes if it's a no. So if I see that I've made a note I know that I've already declined.
I also use stealth mode for perving (ahem) checking out profiles so I don't appear on their looked at me list. |

You could just block those you've decided are a no, then they wont come up in your search and if you do come across the profile, you will instantly know you've blocked them. Also they wont then be able to contact you again from your browsing |

I agree, however, with your suggestions...to have a way to search/browse profiles with our own notes in it.
There are profiles, which are not included in the friend or hot lists, or blocked, and yet have some personal notes in it.
I think, it would be helpful to have a way to search all the profiles with our personal notes.
Just a personal opinion. |
