Random issue I've just noticed today.

On longer forum posts using the mobile site on a Samsung s3, when not scrolling through a thread extra text is appearing which seems to be a repetition of other text in the thread but shifted down and to the right.

Tried it on a number of threads, it didnt happen on any under 101 the next one I found to try was around 120 and it happened on that one and larger threads.

When I experienced this (default Android browser) it was because it was the end of the thread (too long).

Mildy annoying all the same.

If you keep your finger on when scrolling it doesn't happen

But when I stop scrolling to read something it does. Would rather not have to keep juggling the screen about when reading

She means if you keep your finger held down after/when you scroll the the text doesn't overlay.

Not ideal but a workaround until it is fixed.

It doesn't seem to work for me the text just flashes on and off instead of staying there

It would be nice to know if the techies are aware of and looking into this problem which seems to be getting worse.

It sounds like a pure browser rendering issue. The workaround also sounds like a way to get the browser to redraw the page which fixes it.

Which us another way of saying it's the software on your phone, not the site that is causing the issue.

I really don't think that is something the site admins can fix.
