Loving the chat rooms.
But when I see someone in a directing room making a comment about a particular cam, I want to go to that cam to see what they're talking about. I am nosey like that
As there are only so many members allowed in a room, would it be possible to allocate the slot a person is in, a number which shows in the list window and in the cam window where you watch them, just before their username.
When you want to refer to them in chat, you refer to them by their number but it appears in the chat window as their username.
If someone sees the username in the chat window, they could click on it to see that cam, or a simple error pop-up if they do not have a live cam?
Just a suggestion.
Have a great day. |

I've read it several times, and I still don't get it!
I think he's trying to turn us into "numbers"! So if you were cam 6 in the list, I could type "6 your hair is looking lovely today", and that would appear in the room as "Moodymoo BSE your hair is looking lovely today".
I'm a bit dubious about whether this has any benefits, at all.
I guess it saves people time in typing out long sitenames (hint to OP: get a shorter sitename!), but we generally use shorter names, anyway (everyone in chat calls me "sunny").
It might also save confusion when chatters call each other by their 'real life' names, instead of sitenames. For example, I regularly chat to 2 x Jan's and 2 x Jen's. But is anyone really gonna bother to find out what their friend's "number" is, today? I guess the number would change with each cam session, so they're just gonna keep chatting to 'Jan' and 'Jen' and ignore the numbers.
More info needed on the reason for this suggestion, I think, OP!
