We'll be doing an update to new chat over the next 24hrs and you may notice some disruption while we make the changes. If there are problems just leave the room for 10 minutes and come back.
You won't notice any difference (unless there are problems!) because this is a behind the scenes change to improve chat scalability before we open it up to the whole site.
If this update goes ok, our next step is to fix the remaining issues and niggles with it and we are almost ready for prime-time.

PS. Thanks for all the feedback on chat so far... we've been reading through the (literally) hundreds of private contacts and forum posts. |

Can i ask that will the future updates include user selectable text colour (not the name in colour but the actuall messages in colour) as it is now?
