i am severley epileptic, and the neon colours course me to fit , and in a matter of seconds i will fit, i am well aware of freedom of peeps to choose colours they like , but in all honesty alot of people cannot tolerate those colours, also i have to flood the chat room to remove them quickly , which then gets me into trouble for flooding , i am sure i am not the only epilptic who uses the site , and alot of the neon colours can,t b seen anyway , sorry for rant , but it is annoying , |

I agree that chat could lose some of the paler colours. When the orange or yellow are used, many chatters can't read, so they ignore. Then the user chunters "you're all really unfriendly in here", and gives up on the chatrooms.
We're not unfriendly - we just can't read your chat! |

Even for those of us without any sight problems the neon or bright fonts can be very distracting, as Sunnyoptomist said chatters just get ignored. Chat will be much easier to use if we just had normal font colours |

"If you are severely epileptic I suggest you dont use the chat rooms at all....
By your own admission you can fit in a matter of seconds.....WHY RISK IT????
"
I can't agree, I'm afraid. In this day and age, all websites should do all they can to make their site accessible to all. If removing 4 or 5 chat colours means that people with epilepsy can use the chatroom, then Admin should make that small change.
People with epilepsy, are able to swing, and they should be able to use whichever of the site's features they prefer. |

In my head this sounds a bit rude but i really dont mean it to be!!
Its just a suggestion, but would wearing sunglasses while using the chat rooms help? By darkening the colours? Sorry if its a stupid suggestion! |

I was just thinking that, but I though I'd wait on you to come and ask |
