Just an idea, but given that new features seem to be popping up on a regular basis, I wondered if there was any scope for a 'Voting' system to allow the developers to prioritise the features people wanted to see developed ahead of others.
So the developers present a poll of, say, the next five features for development along with a brief description of each, then each account can vote for their top 3 - or put them into a priority order. In this way the developers would be able to get the most wanted features in their development pipeline out first.
Just a thought - plus it would allow site users to see whats up and coming! |

I can see why you think this .... and at first view, it seems like a sensible idea.
But where would you put this? Admin have said before that less that 1% of Fabsters use the Forum, so it can't go in here. And if Admin were to send an inbox message to everyone, inviting them to vote, that would probably take up too much bandwidth.
Admin have statistics on what percentage of users are using each feature (search, chat, interests, etc), so I think we should just trust Admin to use their data and judgement to decide on priorities. x

I would have it as a click-able link on the front page which takes you to a voting page.
Once you've voted, the link disappears, until a new round of voting on a new set of features.

When you say "front page", do you mean "home" or "my account"? Cus I am automatically directed to "my account" page when I log in..... I almost never go to "home" page. |
