With google, if one puts a username and fabswingers into a search engine, the forum conversations come up.
I've filters on stopping non registered users from looking at my profile and I know some people do not log in to their profiles if they want to lurk at who says what in the forums by using google.
Is there any way what is said on fab to stay on fab instead of it being on google for all to see and read.

If someone knows your username and that you're on fabswingers enough to google it they could just register in 1 minute for free and read them anyway?

Yes, but it's other usernames who do not log into their profiles- for one reason or another, or to avoid their mail- that are able to read who says what and what we are up to that through google.
It's not a particularly serious issues but it can make me cagey using the forums knowing that anyone could read what I say, and that anything I say is there forever. |

Surely you could stop spiders from accessing the forum so none of what goes on in here would be picked up by search engines?
I guess the site owners would want as much traffic as possible though for revenue... |
