See how 'time wasting' is open to interpretation?? This is not ebay

No no, it's a good idea.......I score you -5 for our meet last night, you failed to get it up and I'm not giving you a verification either!
Now you and I both know that is complete rubbish, we have never met. But if your scoring system was to exist, and I chose to brand you a limp dick, how would you prove it was a lie?
Answer? You can't, because the more you protested, the more people would suspect it was the truth.
Any system of "peer scoring" is bound to fail because people are not always completely honest. It is a little naive to believe otherwise. |

9 times out of 10, I've found that it is usually lack of profile information rather than lack of verifications that prevents a person getting meets. |

You are determined to be right aren't you. What does the other site do? Make people who give "scores" take a polygraph test. It is unworkable and always will be, simply because anyone can "score" anyone else without any means of confirmation.
Tell you what, go on the other site and piss somebody off, lets see how long it is before you start getting crap scores because, remember the person you pissed off will probably have online friends who will support them.
Or is it that you have seen their system and simply accept that it works because its there. If so, what is your proof of impartiality? |

It would not prevent time wasters at all. Once they get a lot of negative feedback they could just delete the profile and start a new one.
Also has somebody has already said it is open to abuse. If I give you negative feedback and say you did not turn up for a meet how will admin know if I am lying or not? |

No clearly not, it was just an idea. It was simply based in an NPS system.
However, looking at some of the comments clearer not that good.

Pretty sure it's a subject I've never moaned about - or felt the need to! 
Most of those doing the moaning could easily cut down the number of occurrences their time is 'wasted' with a few simple adjustments to the way they approach things!
Why change the site - which works perfectly well if you use it correctly - rather than things that are obviously not working? |

For an awful lot of people on here blaming those mythical beast "the timewaster" and "the fake" is by far the easier option than having even the slightest hint of self awareness looking at their own processes and what they could do to eliminate the problem. |

Nowadays, when someone asks to chat, I would politely reply I don't mind chatting, however, it does not necessarily lead to anything more, and do not wish to be called a timewaster.

to true we get mails then go read a profile only to read ........fill in later and see they have been on site for over a year |
