Just a couple of quick suggestions on forums thread improvements.
1) At the bottom of a thread, could we have a link which takes you back to the top of the page?
2) Could your own posts be highlighted in some way so that (on fast moving threads) its easy to locate the your posts by quickly scrolling down? Maybe make the background of the post a pale blue or invert the user name so its white on black?

1) Can't you press 'home' if on laptop/PC? I know it's on the mobile site.
2) I like that idea, especially if I change my avatar, I sometimes don't recognise my own posts  |

I think an edit button for forum posts wouldn't go amiss. A few might see it as a way of causing mischief by altering a post and denying they ever posted what they did but the post could stamped as having been edited.
Threads are often closed because they get too big ie over a certain number of posts and it takes some scrolling through to find where the new posts start, why not paginate the threads say 20 posts per page also a link to the first unread post in the thread would be useful. |
