Finally got my four new pics posted!
First they were rejected - "didn't appear to be of the same person as the verification photo".
Okay, the one face pic had the face blurred, the other three didn't show my face. The contact button was not helpful, it just said to "read the instructions and try re-posting, no discussion of individual pics or reasons for rejecting".
So after cursing a bit, I did something sensible! I re-posted the four pics (friends only) and posted two more as private. One was exactly the same as the other face pic without the blurring, the other showed full face. All the pics showed the same hotel room background, and the same girl. The face pic was indisputably the same person as my verification pic.
The first four were almost immediately cleared for posting, and the other two were disallowed! Admin was being sensible - I was clearly going to delete them anyway.
