"If the events advertised are for events not approved of by Fab they'll be pulled. J" There's a fair few "not approved" lately that have had no issues before. Can't see where any of the ones pulled have broken any rules either. Getting ridiculous, it's already not the easiest site for finding events, but would be great if they'd stop removing stuff for no reason.

"https://www.fabswingers.com/forum/events There are lots of events advertised here What type of event is it?" The latest one was pulled for supposedly not following the rules but I'm failing to see what rule was broken. It's been on here for months and it's a highly successful event too

"https://www.fabswingers.com/forum/clubs/1577974 https://www.fabswingers.com/forum/events/1684239 Is it anything to do with these? If not ask Admin from the contact links to review if it is your event " Nope, checked all those. Seems pointless contacting an admin. I've a friend that's never been able to post in the forums, she's contacted several times as have I on her behalf and got ignored. I've also another friend that created an account ages ago and never got their photo verified. It's fine, I'll get my event listings from a different site but thanks for trying to reply anyway

"The blanket ban on events and, in effect clubs, would make more sense if fab as a site promoted it's own events. But it doesn't. It's a shop window into the clubs that provide so much in terms of events and safe spaces for couples and singles in this lifestyle, but sadly it seems determined to close off some of those windows because other sites *do* promote their own events. Each of those other sites has some big flaws - as does fab. None of them are perfect but they are all trying to help people make connections. The risk for fab is that by blocking those clubs and events people just go elsewhere to meet their tribe - and they won't come back here. I really feel for the board mods who I think have been placed in a rather invidious position by the site owners of having to defend a policy that they are unwilling to defend themselves - as others have said contacting the site owners is very difficult. And just for the record if we get banned from the forums for this post we don't think the mods are at fault. They are a fabulous bunch and do a great job." This is half the issue. Fab have some big competition out there at the moment and all they're doing is shooting themselves in the foot. I've no idea where the logic is but clubs and events are a part of the lifestyle and fab is meant to be a lifestyle website. The mind boggles.
