Clearing chat history on friends

How do you clear chat from friends?

When you click on friends it still shows the chat history.

I believe once you've deleted it, over time it becomes deleted as nothing stays forever. Even the link on the profile of the message disappears

It's a chat from 2 weeks ago and still shows the history on the friends profile

You could block them and neither can see

I think thst if they are a supporter and have saved it, either they have to delete it, or one if you has to block the other.
