One year and NO meets

Do the administrators feel that profiles that have been on fabs for over one year and NO meets. Also have no pics on there profile. Or "Will fill in Later" should be removed from Fabs. Its obvious they are time wasters or fake profiles . |

I don't believe they should be removed, given this lifestyle, people come with all sorts and being nervous can be one of those. And browsing in there own pace, not causing an issue but others create an issue for themselves. Stick with doing you and let others focus on themselves  |

Why are they fakes or timewasters? A lot of people don't get a veri in the first year, maybe they don't feel comfortable showing photos and prefer to send them privately.
What other people are doing with their profile has no bearing on you. If you don't want to engage with these people you don't have to but just because you can't see what is going on with their profile doesn't mean they should be removed. |

I don't agree they should be removed. Not everyone is here for the same reason and I fail to see how they could be wasting anyone's time or be classed as fake?
It's extremely easy to just pass on by. |

Wow that's a bit brutal. I've been on and off here for about 3 years and have no meets or verifications.
I do have pics and a completed profile though.
I've messaged one female in those 3 years, who unsurprisingly didn't respond.
I wouldn't get bent out of shape if my profile were deleted because of this. However, some people want to put the bare minium on profiles, without a picture etc and then message others and engage in coversation that way.
I have absolutely no intention of getting a meet on Fab as this site to me is game playing with all the hoops you have to jump through i.e. face pic with first message otherwise we will delete the message without reading it, no beards, 6' tall minimum etc etc. When I read these profiles I just think WTF and its almost like I am messaging a supermodel (the opposite is often true).

How would you know if someone has or not had meets? Verifications don’t mean much - someone can get verified at a club just for going. Doesn’t mean they met anyone. Someone who is actively meeting might not care about or want verifications of their private business. |

If it's that obvious, then surely they're easy for you to spot, ignore and avoid. Just block them if they bother you. |

I’ve been on the site for a long time. I am photo verified. I met someone here last week, also photo verified.
Neither of us have been verified by another user and therefore under the site rules, we can’t verify each other. I kind of understand this if one of us wasn’t photo verified, but why can’t we verify.
I’ve had three meets in total but appear not to have. I’d be excluded under these rules.

Some people have fewer chances or options than others, including having fewer people who are local. Availability and timing may also not be in abundance, including for finding family care and free accommodation.
It's fine for people to meet those who aren't verified too  . They won't get verifications left, even if meeting every day of the week.
With such a range of types of users here, you can filter and match with the right people for you. The easier it is that others make it for you, to pass them by, if they don't match you, the better |

I have to agree with what's already been out about people should have the freedom to use their profiles however they want, including frequency. I'm one of those that choose to come and go with sometimes long gaps, and just because my profile doesn't show verifications doesn't mean I haven't had some amazing meets over the years.
I'll also add that you can choose who you interact with, so I don't see why it would be a problem for anyone? |

Some people (including me) have sensitive careers , we can’t afford to post pictures of our faces & bits for all users to see and then face the repercussions of them being found, or being used against us.
How many times have you walked into a shop and notice their face - then realise where you know them from 
Imagine if you are a police officer or CEO….. it is tricky !

🤔 what about the people who are not necessarily looking to meet but what to be in touch with what clubs and what’s going on. We dont have pictures and only play in clubs .,we also pay our sub just like you |

My view is that it is down to each of us to choose if we engage with a profile. If you suspect it is fake, that the person has put zero effort in or if a red flag for you is the display of verifications then block and move on. |

No pics could be people who want 100% discretion such as those who work within the public eye such as teachers, police, shop workers etc.
There is fake profiles and time wasters out there but that's the online community for you. |

Tattoos and distinguishing marks, birthmarks, maybe even recognise surroundings such as your house. Lots of things can give you away. |

We've been on here for over a year now. Never met anyone, never set foot out of the door. We've got some photos that not everyone can see.
We believe in saying from the off that we are taking it at our pace. If people don't like our pace we get that. This a journey we're taking and we'll take as long as we need!! We enjoy it still! |

Best option is for people to routinely block such profiles when they notice them. They are basically just clutter and are not entertaining into the true spirit of the site in any way. |
