Would be really useful if the local section of the Updates page didn't display local people whose message filters were set to block the very people on whose page they are showing up.
I get that the filtering is done on matching what they're listed as looking for and what I've set my looking for, however, if they have set their message filters to block that age and gender, there's no point in seeing their profile. |

Not sure how filters affect updates tbh. I get zero from men on this profile but do on the couples one due to settings. I seem to get a few from those outside my age preferences in terms of the occasional couple and single woman, so suspect they may be determined by my settings, not theirs.
But it's easy for me to ignore them. |
