I wish there was a way of commenting on videos and photos so the posters could see how much they ate appreciated. Often when I try to send a note of appreciation I find the profile has a bar that doesn't allow the comment to be sent. While I appreciate that it's a sensible feature set up to avoid people being pestered by others they don't wish to meet I feel it's a shame that they miss out on compliments which may give them guidance regarding the most popular type of photos and vids to take and post in future. |

Not everyone would be complimentary and not everyone wants feedback. People often post photos and videos just because they like them, not necessarily for the benefit of others.
I suspect it would just be seen as another means for people filtered out of messaging to attempt contact. It already happens at times in the forums in response to comments. It would be 100 times worse if it was possible with images and videos. |

Whilst I get the fact it's not for everyone; we often see photos/video listed on our update page where the user clearly wants feedback. They then have to put on their status something like 'What do you think of our latest picture?' etc etc
If you opt for feedback then you take on board that it might not always be positive.
But surely what about choice? Those that want it great for those that don't then fine. Set it up as no comments as the default so those that want it can 'opt in'. |

Undoubtedly.
My profile says, "Not looking to meet single men " and I have single guys blocked from messaging. So, every now and then, one will Fab a dick pic. Gawd knows what reaction they expect... |
