Howdy! Wondering if the Fab Administrators would consider having a "Deactivate Account" setting in the future?
It's available on Facebook, handy if you want to take a break from the madness without quitting altogether. You still keep your friends, posts & info. Just that you "disappear" for a while!
The " hide profile" option has weaknesses in my opinion... friends can still message you & see any pics you may have... so you end up back on Fab, answering messages, even though you want to take a "chill pill"! LOL  |

Hide profile, private pics, all filters on full, quick status that you're taking a break, then change your password to a random one off a password generator, and delete the email when you get it. Then relax! |

Nah, you just get admin to reset your password and bobs your uncle. But you really have to want to take a break, and to be honest, why would you?  |

"If you want a break just dont log in for a while. I tried that, hid my profile, I lasted one day and dont get loads off messages"
You can stop people from messaging you, I did for 2 weeks and it works a treat |

Given the recent "Facebook scare", (put "Facebook" in the search menu of the forums to bring it up), I really think that admin should seriously consider giving people the option of deactivating their account for a while if they wish.
As for the message filters.... I'm trialing it as we speak... problem is friends can message me & I think anyone who has messaged me in the past & I have replied can do so to....  |
