Is it just me or this function is completely useless? It only saves the most recent few pages of the convo not the bits that I actually wanted to save. It looks like if I want to save something I need to screenshot it.

I've found that if you use group message settings and have saved more than just one message, you're able to see/read more

I find it useful. We use it when someone isn't currently looking for the same as us, but is a possibility for the future.

It like keeps a note for our reference.

We hid our profile for a time, but before that tried to save conversations we were having. Coming back it’s a complete mess and more or less everything is wiped. Find it quite hard to understand when you compare the amount of data in messages (which are deleted) with that in photos (which are not). I guess photo content drives traffic in a way that chats don’t - but for paying users it’s a pain.

As a subscriber it's says you can keep messages, but I agree not all the message thread is saved . Sometimes only 1 sided
