Photo verification

So I have a friend that has joined this site a few weeks ago. They are meet verified and a paying member.

They have now been asked for photo verification to continue using the site.

Needless to say they can't log in properly until they send the photo.

Like them and me and a lot of other members on here I thought photo verification wasn't compulsory.

Aren't admin own words that they will never make it compulsory. So how can they prevent ppl from using this site if somebody doesn't want to send their photo.

It's not compulsory if it's random and that's what it is, as not everyone have been chosen to.

I was under the impression all females have to be photo verified to stop the many (many) fake profiles that used to be on here

The words are normally that they will not make it compulsory for all. Some people get asked to.

If they upload a good PV they will be able to use the site

Why would only some ppl get asked and not others. They've paid their membership fee so should be treated like everybody else. Either make it compulsory for everybody or none at all.

You can't have it both ways.

With respect, the site owners can. There are a few reasons why someone would be forced to give a PV.

If your friend wants Admin to review their decision she should ask Admin from the contact link while logged out and giving her username.
