Two ideas, firstly adjustable age range filters, for example we are comfortable meeting couples upto say 50, but when we are looking for single men we only really want to hear from men our age.

Next is a message filters for smokers, we have ticked the box that we don't want to meet them but we can still be messaged by them.

First one you can set by your search preferences by age group. you can have I think 7 choices so you can change by just a quick click
