Fake profiles

There is more and more fake profiles lately, I think something needs to be put into place where you can't message or even view anyone until you have verified yourself with the site, and maybe upgrade the verification system.

What do you mean by fake profiles OP? Ones which are actually bots, or people pretending to be someone they aren't?
And how do you know there are more? I'm not saying you are right or wrong, just interested in what you are basing this on. |

there's lots of them.they get banned and just come back under a different name . |

We noticed an increase in fake profiles especially cpl profiles where when chatting only the man is available.if ur busy on this site u know.profiles that arnt so busy with meets dont notice and detect this |

1) Yes. Guys masquerading as couples, and from what I have read on other posts, they copy female photos from porn sites. I have seen profiles in which photos of their female partner skin color varies so much, that it can’t be the same person.
2) From my experience messaging single women, no photo and/or not photo verified by fab, are not genuine. They can have one or two verification from others.
The exception to not photo verified but still genuine, are those women that have been posting photos over a period of time. They also usually tend to have many verifications from others.
3) I’m sure fab do couple photo verifications. Will check. |

You can block unverified profiles in the mail filters... |

Yes I’ve noticed this more recently especially like already mentioned couples profiles where only the male is available for fun or they are looking for face pics the profile is there a couple of hours then gone
And then set up a hour later
Shame for people who are genuine  |

Not just limited to Couples profiles, I've had few messages from single fems that set the spidey sense off. |

Over the years I have found that it doesn’t matter what site you are on there’s always fake profiles,personally I don’t see the point they always get found out, |

You can block unverified people from messaging you and the site will work for you how you want it to.
It goes without saying that if you think someone is fake, you can report it from the profile and Admin will check it out. I will paste what Admin have said they do with reports if verified.

Here is an explanation from Admin from another thread on how they deal with reports.
******Just a quick note. If people report others and we can verify that they have broken site rules, we always take action (either a first and final warning, partially suspended account, fully suspended, mixture of the above).
Every single report sent via the REPORT link is reviewed. Clearly it's not in our interests to have people on here who are bad for the site. Equally we need to verify what has been reported and be fair to those who have been reported.

PS. we never provide feedback on what has happened. It's just not practical given that we get 100s of reports a day.
Here is what the page says after a report has been submitted:
